Overview

Welcome to Aether3D Studio! This web app provides an integrated environment to model 3D meshes, construct bone rigs, skin vertices, animate poses on a keyframe timeline, and export the animated scene directly into industry-standard GLB binary format.

Workflow Guide

  1. Modelling Mode: Add standard primitive meshes from the Left panel. Adjust position, size, and PBR material details. Toggle Vertex Edit Mode to select and drag individual vertices in 3D.
  2. Rigging Mode: Click "Add Joint" and click anywhere on the viewport to place bones. Select a bone in the tree, then click again to parent and extend the skeleton chain. Finally, select a mesh and click "Bind Mesh" to automatically solve skinned bone weights based on distance.
  3. Animation Mode: Pose your bones using the Rotate tool. Scrub the bottom timeline, set the active frame, and click "Insert Keyframe". Play back the timeline to verify smooth spherical interpolation.
  4. Export: Click "Export GLB" at the top header to compile your animated skinned character into a `.glb` file. Drag it directly into standard sites like gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com to verify!
